On Sunday I brought my violin (which I'm going to call it Metis from now on) to my instructor while I brought my niece to her MLM class.
Sunday was also the first day of her Ballet class as well. It was a trial class, and apparently she liked it so she's going back. Which mean that I would be staying longer on each Sunday waiting for her.
Anyhow, the bridge on my violin was not square, it was leaning toward the fingerboard. The little feet on it was actually lifted off of the surface a little. My instructor said that it was probably because the pieces of Metis is still moving and settling in. He said that it'll be another 6 months or so. It'll get better for 3 and then worse before the sound got stabilized. Then it'll get better as it's aged.
Well, I'm ordering a metronome/tuner. Because, even though I could get one of those webpage that offer metronome for free (actually they have it on their page) I still have to be on computer to use it, this way I could just sit on my bed or something. And tuner is good, too, because I wanna know if I get the sound right. I don't really trust my ear for right now.
Tomorrow is another class.
I've decided that for every class I'm gonna put 1 sticker on the cover of my violin book. So, I have 3 now on the cover. They are just the printout of Mai HiME and Mai Otome fanart (ShizNat mostly) there are some Fate/Stay Night as well. I cut them out to small pieces and then put the clear contact paper on it, in case I wanna take them out. (probably not).

I'm learning something new.
Yeah, hard to really considering learning anything when you're at the working age, you know, you finished with school and now working, and you spent all your day at your respective jobs and stuff. But since I work for.. well, me and my family I can take the time out during the day to do something else, as long as my schedule doesn't conflicting with my mother's. Someone's gotta mind the store.
I've always wanted to learn an instrument. Lack of chance when I was a kid, and so, now seemed like it might be a little late, but hey, who knows.
Well, I've read that Meryle Streep learned to play the Violin when she was 40, so that goes to show you that the age isn't important if you wanna learn. (ok, so she learned it to take the role of a violin teacher in a movie, but man, she could certainly demand a stand in or something) I've been telling my mother that we should get my niece to some classes, you know, piano, violin, cello, whatever, so she gets the skill to do something creative for herself when she's older. As for whether she would keep up with it when she's a teenager, well, I hope she will.
If she can't draw, then she can play something.
And so we started her on basic music course. You know, notes, tempo, a little bit of piano. Things that a 4 year old could enjoy. And since I'm the primary chauffeur, and they offer a violin, cello guitar (among other thing) I decided that I wanna take Violin class. It's only once a week, so it doesn't interfere with other things. Might be a little expensive, but hey it's no more than me getting the next toy.
Mom said if you want to, then go ahead.
So, my niece is taking the basic music course (they called it MLM, Music for Little Mozart) on Sunday (because Saturday is not set in schedule, we might need to go somewhere since the store is close) at 10 AM. And by the 15 we'll be starting her on ballet right after that too. (this one because she wanted to, I think she just likes the tutu)
As for me, Violin class on Tuesday (yeah, why not the same day? Unfortunately, someone else (older than me) already booked that time for piano lesson so, out of luck) at 1 PM.
Today is my third week, so far so good, I just got my violin too. Not the terribly expensive one, because I'm just a beginner, after all, when I'm good at it, then we'll see about a good one.
I don't think I'm gonna be shelling out for a $1,700 violin when I'm still just starting out. Now I'm looking to get a tuner/metronome. I'd need metronome for practice, but as for tuning, I think my instructor will probably gonna be tuning for me for a while. But it'll still be something I need to learn to do it for myself.
A while back I also decided that I'm gonna cut sticker for my glass shower stall. At first I wanted something from Mai HiME or Mai Otome universe (which for me, is equal to Shizuru and Natsuki) But it gets really complicated, and I could not find an image that I like enough to do something this big for. So I rethought the whole thing. I want something that I can look at and not go.. what the hell was I thinking (of course ShizNat will not get that reaction for me, it just that I don't wanna do it and found it came out horrible) So I picked something far less busy.
I found an image on Clo-cro site, and I thought, hey I could do that and not get bored with it too soon. I'm figuring how I was gonna do it, put on the clear contact first or cut first. Finally I decided that I'll cut first and that way I don't have to deal with the seams that will surely come with putting the contact paper down first.
I did separate the image along the places that weren't connected, for easier cutting. Still a few pieces were big enough that it's still hard to handle.
I got a few of them done already and found that a few pieces can be separated even more. So I did.
Should be done in a week or so.

anime, new project, and new Jdrama..
Mnemosyne episode 4 with sub is out, and I'm finished loading it earlier.
I can't wait to watch it later tonight. I also got Osen several days ago, but still didn't watch it yet, maybe tonight will be a good time. Also got Hakaba Kitaro. A bunch of thing to watch tonight.
I got some transfer tapes, 8", 4", and 2" wide. Just what I need. My next project is the glass shower stall. I started it a while ago ( a long while ago) It's the scene from Mai Otome manga, where all the HiME and the Otome were face to face. Then I ran into some problem. So, I stop, now I have to start over, maybe the same image, maybe different. I'm looking though, maybe I'll find something nicer.
My friend said Shizuru and Natsuki ( yeah, she's one woman cheering team ) I said maybe.
Saber will look good on it, too, I think. Especially when the image cast shadow onto the wall behind it. Ummmmmmmmm... something to think about.
Now I'm working on the box for my friend, let's just call her Y. *snicker*
I told her I would cut sticker for all sides, which means, 6 images, probably all of them on Emma Ai (Jigoku Shoujo) Well, I've made a monster, I think. She loves the series. Seriously, there were parts that it's a little flimsy at best, but then, when you're talking about human and human emotions, some of them just don't make sense. Same thing as when you have 2 people going through the same sort of ordeal, one came through fine and the other came through with MPD. weird...
Yeah...
A lot of things to do still.
I should get back to the gym again, but still too busy to. Anyhow, I'm playing workout mode on DDR, kinda fun, if you think about it. I made a mistake of stepping on the down arrow and press A without checking, so I had to hop around to match the game (because so far, me and my uncoordinated self had been playing beginner level of the game) But it was good, I sweat so it's all that count, right. Besides, keep it up and I should be able to do it. I hope.... maybe, I wish...
I'm trying to get into making things again.

babe! I've been unwell. Major fever cough cold the works. And being unwell has kinda messed up my body some and my jaw from my accident also complicates things because I get these muscular tension things that hurt my head and my neck was always problematic before the accident but now it's worse and more frequent. Anyway long story short..lol I'm still struggling with it a bit but rest of the time I'm doing ok and..I actually wrote to say that I will show you pics from Spain! I'll email you details :D
And I'm a bit into sarah connor too but the show doesn't quite have that amazing flow of story ya know? But the concepts are quite intriguing making you think "what if" and also I like lena headey. I think Cameron's character is interesting too.

Criminal Minds last night ...
Wow, talk about subtext.
Well, you know we do look for it everywhere and quite happy when we found them. :)
That scene with JJ and Prentiss, when Emily reached over and squeezed her hand... and the looks, oh yeah... I'm pleased, really I am. There seems to be more looks pass between them lately, or maybe it's just me and my wishful thinking.
Either way, the more the better, 'cause they definitely fuel some of the fanfic writers with material to work with. Heck knows we have to look for them, I mean, really really look for them.
Well, I'm working on Mirandy fic at the moment, and Shiznat too. Also coding the site, they are all going slowly. I still got menu to finish. I guess I'll get to do them tomorrow, since it'll be quite impossible to get out anyway, all the traffic, I really don't like festival. People flocked in and the congestion, more people means more cars on the road too. Oh well.
I have no plan to go anywhere tomorrow, I'll be happily staying in. I just asked a friend if she had any plan, and she said no, but I know her, there'll be some friends of hers to drag her out the last minute. LOL.
My other friend still unable to come over, I'm holding the r/c illu she asked me to do hostage, I'm not mailing that thing, not after I made it for her. The least she could do is picking it up personally.
It's Friday night and I think I'll get to bed a little earlier than I usually do on Friday (which mean before 4 a.m.) Though I doubt I'll be sleeping. NCIS is looking pretty good right about now.

I just watched Claymore, finally!!
I liked it! And there's potential for some slashing! LOL. I liked Clare, she's just the type of character I usually drawn to, as long as she develop further and not turned into a slobbering mess of human emotion, then it's all good. But then maybe I should get the manga for it as well. I saw the manga a while back but since I couldn't get the first volume I kinda dismissed it, until I can get the first volume that is. Maybe the next trip to the bookstore (gotta take a little ride) I also saw Ikkitousen, but they just didn't have the first few volume. (I only saw vol. 5 and when I asked they didn't have them)
Also I needed to pick up the next vol. of Eureka 7, MAR, Mai Otome, and whatever else struck my fancy. LOL
I just let my aunt watch Blood&Chocolate, she liked those kind of movie, Vampire, Werewolf type. I liked the feel of the movie, although I didn't get to see the entire thing, I went to shower, but no matter, I can watch it later.
Writing ShizNat still. :) I'm making a decision on some scene, so it's at standing still... This is why I should not skip ahead and write a scene that should be in later part, cause then I usually end up not knowing whether I should put in certain piece of information in certain places.
Also Bellatrix/Narcissa... yeah, yeah, yeah... Blackcest, but it's my guilty pleasure (well, what isn't my guilty pleasure) I'm writing it, I kinda have the end of that in mind, but it'll be a long way to go before I get to that point. LOL. Don't know if I'll ever post it though. Maybe, just for the hack of it.

Watching : CSI : NY
So, I've been playing Trauma Center : Second Opinion on Wii. :)
I enjoy it, even though I only get to play one or two chapters at the time.
Also, I start practicing with my chux again. I never did practice long enough to actually being proficient at it before, so I guess this is as good a time as any to do it. Never too late to start something, right?
It's raining right now, which mean I won't have any customer, (they don't walk around in the rain, after all.) Empty store, means I'll be watching movie or writing, probably both since there's not much to do.
I just finish one scene of ShizNat, so I'll start with another, probably a scene with Mai to alternate it and get a secondary line moving. And yes, I still read Bella/Cissy (blackcest, they called) I don't mind Bella or Cissy/Hermione either, just for variety I guess. It's surprising I took to it as easily as I did, since I normally really picky about start reading a new pair. Oh well.
Back to writing.

I've got another idea for fanfic.
Yes, another Shiznat idea, although I'm not sure if I can write it down and finish it, since I have too many stories going already, but I guess I can try, I mean, I have to, otherwise I'll get really rusty and I won't be able to finish anything.
I'm getting Nintendo Wii... yup, it's decided. The day is Friday. :) I'll pick one up. I got a pretty alright deal the other day. It's the same price as XBox 360, but at the moment I want Wii and not 360, so. Maybe I'll try to get both, but then it still has to be one at the time.
I got a haircut today. I feel much, much better now. Like I've lost several lbs off of my head. LOL.
It's getting hotter everyday, so it's better with short hair for me.
My aunt just went back and my mom asked when I'm going to go visit. I said next year, then my mom asked why not this year if I'm gonna go on Oct. I'm thinking, it might be a good idea. I always love Falls. :) All that leaves changing color and Halloween! And the weather is just the way I like it, cold, but not too cold.
Yeah, I think I'll discuss it with my cousin first. She said she'll go with me. hehehe

Still watching Mai HiME.
I'm also writing Mai HiME fanfiction as well. It's ShizNat, of course what else could it be. I should be writing other things as well, but well, right now I just don't have any idea for other stuff, so I have to do what I can.
Gizmo is being.... well, a dog that he is.
He's eating less and gotten a tad pickier than usual, I'm not really sure why. Maybe we have to change his diet.
At least he can't talk back. LOL
So, the wireless keyboard and mouse is working fine, so it's good. And I find typing out easier when the keyboard isn't high up on the counter top. Means, I can write faster. LOL. (why does that make me happy)
Anyhow, I might have to buy a new set for home use at this rate, but not that I mind very much. After all, I don't do the whole nightclub and well, anything really, I only spend my money on movies, musics, anime, and manga, so a bit of new toys here and there doesn't really hurt. Or rather I hope not.
Besides it's on sale right now!

Well, my cpu needed a HD reformating, so that's where it went, and now I'm on my laptop.
Today, I also get a new anti virus as well, since I didn't really use my laptop for getting online till recently I hadn't been paying attention to the virus definition and all that, now it's time and I found that there's a lot on it. LOL.
Tonight I purchase :
Onikirimaru vol. 9
Mai HiME vol. 3
Angel Sanctuary vol. 1
I'm not too thrill with Mai HiME manga, really, it's pretty much a Tate HiME, I mean come on. I don't like him, I really don't. He's too self-rightous and self important for my liking. Also pretty stupid and they oversold his ability, especially in manga. To top that off, Shizuru that happened to be the most popular character (according to the poll on sunrise) was barely even in the manga.
At least Mai Otome manga was better in the respect, although Shizuru still wasn't all that prominent, but we got our ShizNat!!
I better get to that box I've been trying to make, I'm starting to put some lining on the inside. And I guess I'll pull a couple sheets of paper to use as a surface, I'm not worry about the smoothness since I can sand it down a bit. Good thing I have a lot of paper to recycle and make some handmade paper. :)

For the lack of better things to do and more capacity to do it...
So I blogged.
I still hadn't watch Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora, or Venus vs. Virus. LOL, I didn't even get the chance to see Jigoku Shoujo, I did try to watch Mai Otome again last night, I fell asleep then I woke up to turn it off. (It was on my Screenplay, I couldn't just let it run all night, and it didn't have timer feature) This is when I regretted not checking before I bought the 42" widescreen plasma tv, it didn't have the second set of AV in, so I had to take out one of my component to put in the extra, which usually mean I would have to take the one for cable out. Before I moved back I did have several extra ones. Like the back and front of my vcr, and then the back of the tv as well as the front. Now I only have dvd player and cable in my room, so anything else will have to use the same ones as the cable one... but then I rarely play game or anything.
It seems that my shiznat fanfic is going to be longer than I thought, cause it's already 13 pages (at 10pt.) and it's not even half done yet, probably over 20 pages before it was over. Ha ha ha. I'm such a slave to the details. I better cut it down a little, my tendencies to describe everything that is.
I'm gonna go watch Biker Build Off now. :) I wish I got the NCIS last night, but well, it didn't work out there. So... it's off to what I have on Screenplay at the moment, which is quite a bit to watch, if I have the time without any interruption to spend on it.

I'm watching (sorta) Mai Otome (again)
Just feeling like watching something with no angst. :)
I got Vidocq (French movie) which Hope pt.2 by Apocalyptica (feat. Matthias Sayer) was the ending credit. I read somewhere that it was rather creepy, but I don't really have the time to watch it right this moment, 'cause I get interrupted every five minutes. I don't watch any movie that require my full attention at the store anymore, really. It's sad. So, I watch anime. LOL.
I still have Madlax to watch, as well as Ikkitousen. I kept trying to watch them before bed, but well, I never get to really watch, cause I was trying to sleep at the same time. LOL.
I'm writing, god I'm writing again, just this time it's Mai HiME Shizuru/Natsuki that's all. I'm trying to get back on the horse, so to speak. 'Cause if I don't start with something I won't.
Trying to fix the damn blogger coding on my html too... not going very well at the moment. Well, I'll try again.

Store's finally open.
So we were renovating the store and we closed down on the 17th of November and we opened back up again on the 5th of December and let me tell you, the first few days were hell! I mean people were calling to make sure that we are open and such and all those that just came in to see that we were actually open on the date. I mean, hello! if the door is open and the stuff are out and arranged then we are open people!
Lately I've been reading Shiznat fanfic a lot, and I'm a bit away from B/F, I still read it, but I didn't check it regularly like I used to. :) Just some new obsession, ya know. I also watch Mai HiME and Mai Otome a lot too. And I am undeniably Shizuru fan now. LOL.
I've recently started on Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, it's really not the type of anime I would watch I mean, cutsie little character... I think I watch it because the whole gender bender thing and also the yuri. Not sure if it'll really be a bit of shoujo ai, but I'll watch it for a couple more episodes, just because.
Kiddy Grade... well, I finished the entire series now. 24 episodes of it. I love Lumiere!! She's so cute. Also that little kiss in Ep 20 and stuff kept me going. LOL. I like shoujo ai and yuri in my anime although I could do with more blood, guts and gore, really. Blood splash makes me happy. Like in Hellsing. Man, I can't wait for more of Hellsing OVA.
Now I got some writing for Shiznat (otome) that I had rattling around in my head and I think I should type it down before I get too lazy to. Not that it'll come out as a finish fiction, but hey, it might.
